Freshman Academy Tardy Consequences **All tardies will be accumulated throughout the entire semester. 3 tardies in one class will count as 1 absence for test exemptions. Thursday and Saturday schools are an automatic loss of all test exemptions · 4th tardy will be a warning 5th tardy - Notice sent home to parents/guardians, this will be taken care of by Mr. Echols and Coach Sutton. 6th tardy - Student assigned to Thursday school 3:10-4:30. 7th tardy - Notice sent home to parents/guardians Thursday school 3:10-4:30 8th tardy - Notice sent home to parents/guardians Thursday school 9th tardy - Notice sent home to parents. Thursday School, & Saturday School (8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.) 10th tardy - Parents notified. 2 Thursday and 2 Saturday Schools and parent meeting 11th tardy - Washington County Juvenile authorities will be contacted. Any student who has been assigned to Thursday and/or Saturday school six (6) times in a semester will be out-of-school suspended for one (1) day and parents or guardians of the student will be notified of a conference with Mr. Echols or his designee. Per District policy 4.8, any work missed by the student because of an out-of-school suspension, will NOT be allowed to be made-up. Any student assigned to Thursday and/or Saturday school twelve (12 times) in a semester will be out-of-school suspended for two (2) school days, and parents or guardians will be notified of a conference with Mr. Echols or his designee.
