Please encourage your student to use the online assistance and/or attend tutoring AS SOON AS he/she does not understand a new concept, as the Algebra/Geometry concepts will be used throughout the school year. 
Algebra/Geometry textbook: www.connectED.mcgraw-hill.com.   To view the student textbook,
students will be given a Username and Password near the beginning of the school year. This
information will also be sent via email and posted in the classroom. The online textbook contains
many interactive lessons, activities, personal tutors, a graphing calculator, self-check quizzes, and
many other resources for student growth. I highly encourage students to take advantage of the
online assistance provided through the textbook resource in order to help them be more
successful this school year.
Varsity Tutors: includes free practice tests, digital flashcards and questions-of-the-day for standardized tests and academic subjects. They also offer visitors the option of creating a free account, which will allow you to save test results and track progrees. Graphing calculator website: 
Math tutoring is available on Tuesday's AND Thursday's after school until 4:00 pm. Please note
that tutoring availability may change due to unit tests, as well as school meetings, personal
appointments, etc. I will do my best to send a Remind text message and/or email when tutoring
will change.
 This year students will NOT be assigned a textbook. If your student would like to check out a textbook, please have him/her see Ms. Smith or Mrs. Busch in the library to check out a textbook. Please note that there are a limited number to check out to students. However, you may access the on-line textbook when needed.
The TENTATIVE outline for each week is located in the "Weekly Outline" section on the left-hand side. Please keep in mind that assignments will change as needed. Please encourage your student NOT to work ahead.
WARNING: Any items left in my classroom (hairbrushes, bags/backpacks, purses, etc.) will be turned into the Lost and Found located in the office. Also, if your student leaves any item in any classroom, hallway, restroom, etc., then he/she will need to check the Lost and Found for their item(s).
